yay!!! spongebob is back on tv!! wheeee!!! and they're new episodes to boot! haha..so funny! what a great way to relax after endless staring at plates of bacteria, counting them, and running gel electrophoresis. and now, i have the lab report to look forward to. bah!
anyways...i'm in the midst of applying for my student exchange programme. gonna try for the UC schools. berkeley and LA. and well...hopefully i get them. science is pretty anal though, so i might have to map my modules properly. and submit everything before the 28th. i have 2 weeks. so much administrative shit to settle. hmm..but i definitely want to go away. i'll scrimp and save, not shop, not club, not drink (at least i'll try...) just so i have some money if i have to pay first (and wait for MOE's reimbursements.) i want to experience life away from this crazy place. i want to know a different culture (albeit one i've been slamming cos i don't like Bush). i want to meet people. i want to get away from here. i don't want to sit on my lazy ass anymore. so regardless of how daunting the damn application is (apparently the UC schools applications are the worst! gees!!), i'll find some way to get them done.
